1️⃣ Prepare the Game: Choose objects or pictures that have the target sound your child is working on. For instance, if the sound is "s," you might choose a sock, a spoon, or a picture of the sun.

2️⃣ Hide the Items: Once you have your items, hide them around the house while your child isn’t looking. Make sure the hiding spots are challenging but accessible.

3️⃣ Start the Hunt: Ask your child to find the hidden items. Each time they find one, encourage them to say the word multiple times, focusing on their target sound. For example, "I found a spoon! Spoon, spoon, spoon!"

4️⃣ Celebrate and Repeat: Celebrate each find with a cheer or a clap! This not only makes it fun but also reinforces their effort and success.

This activity encourages your child to practice their sounds in a fun, low-pressure environment. Plus, it's great for kids who learn best when movement is involved!

1️⃣ Spatial Concepts: Notice them using terms like "in" and "on" to describe locations.

2️⃣ Understanding Pronouns: They start recognizing and using pronouns such as "you," "me," and "her."

3️⃣ Descriptive Words: Descriptors like "big" and "happy" begin to appear in their vocabulary.

4️⃣ 3-Word Sentences: Their thoughts start taking shape in brief 3-word sentences.

5️⃣ Improving Speech Accuracy: Although their speech is getting clearer, they might still skip ending sounds. Strangers may not fully understand them yet.

6️⃣ Responding to Questions: They can answer simple questions, showing they understand and can engage in basic conversations.

7️⃣ More Pronouns Usage: Usage of pronouns like "you" and "I" becomes more frequent.

8️⃣ Question Inflection: They start asking for things with questions, like "my ball?"

9️⃣ Grasping Plurals and Past Tense: They begin to use plurals such as "shoes" or "socks," and regular past tense verbs like "jumped."
