Meet Reniqua Moore, MSW

Reniqua Moore, MSW is a Florida Licensed Social Work Intern with Oceanview Therapy, where she brings over a decade of experience working with families and children in the field of child welfare. Throughout her career, Reniqua has developed a deep commitment to supporting vulnerable populations, specializing in trauma, addiction, abuse, and women’s issues. Her personal journey has inspired her to pursue therapy as a way to help others navigate and overcome their own traumatic experiences. Reniqua’s focus is on empowering individuals, particularly women and teen girls, to heal from their past and reclaim their peace and joy.

Reniqua’s philosophy of care is rooted in a trauma-informed, client-centered approach that values each individual’s unique story and healing process. She strives to create an environment where clients feel heard, understood, and supported throughout their journey. As a therapist, she works not only to help clients cope with their challenges but to help them thrive in all areas of their lives. Her passion for helping others is further reflected in her work with children, as she believes in the importance of positive behaviors and functional communication.

Reniqua earned her Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from Walden University, following her Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University. She currently resides in the Orlando metropolitan area, where she serves her community. Outside of her professional life, Reniqua prioritizes family and community involvement. She is married with three children, actively participates in her church, and enjoys supporting her children’s sports activities.
